The Seahawks offense is not very good right now. They could only muster 20 points in a loss to the Saints and their real life imitation of a defense (their only touchdown was a defensive score). The week before that they had six points in a tie with the Cardinals. Russell Wilson hasn’t scored a touchdown, rushing or passing, in over a month.
Marshawn Lynch returned to the Seahawks. Too bad he was just visiting.
Maybe a little sprinkling of Beast Mode aura will be just the thing Seattle’s terrible offense needs to break out of its rut.

So what’s the problem? Maybe the problem is Darrell Bevell, the offensive coordinator. Field Gulls dives deeper into the struggles he’s had without the combination of Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson on the field at the same time. Maybe he should be the next offensive coordinator to get fired. Another issue might be Christine Michael forced into a full-time role, something that’s not a fit for his skill set.
The was good news this week for the Seahawks offense: Marshawn Lynch was back! The retired running back Marshawn visited the locker room. How's he been? "Smooth." Perhaps the moral support of having him in the locker room for a day will be enough.
WHO IS GOING TO WIN THIS WEEK? You are, as long as you let our expert picks guide your decisions.
RAIDERS TO VEGAS UPDATE: Jerry Jones says it’s “pretty definitive” that the Raiders will move to Las Vegas. Jones sees the “crosshairs” aligning for the Las Vegas Raiders
DON’T BLAME THE FANS: Some Jaguars players think the fans are the problem, they’re wrong. And Big Cat Country has a response.
RAIDERS READY FOR BRONCOS? The Raiders offense hasn’t faced a “defense like ours,” said Broncos rookie safety Justin Simmons. The AFC West rivalry should be a good one.
HOT SEAT WATCH: These NFL coaches are on the hot seat and should probably be fired anyway. Ratings are down and penalties are up, but there are still a few certainties around this part of the NFL calendar. The annual wave of firings will begin in about two months.
CUSSIN’ OUT BELICHICK: Randy Moss accidentally cussed out Bill Belichick one time. The wide receiver left the Oakland Raiders for New England in April 2007.
WHAT ARE THOOOOOSE: Ezekiel Elliott won’t stop roasting Dak Prescott for his shoes. Dak took his own shots, too.
