The Green Bay Packers are in a precarious position going into their Week 11 game against Washington at FedEx Field. They are struggling along with the rest of the NFC North, and now the playoffs are a real question mark for them. The Packers will try to get things right in the primetime spotlight of Sunday Night Football.
Packers vs. Washington 2016 picks and predictions: Green Bay is the underdog
The Packers and Washington are both behind in their divisions, but each will try to right the ship on “Sunday Night Football.”
Like all Sunday Night Football games, the matchup will kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC. A live stream will be available online.
The Packers may not be playing in a division that's dominated by the Minnesota Vikings anymore, but they have lost their last three games, including an embarrassing 47-25 loss to the Tennessee Titans in their last outing. They still have a rematch with the Vikings and a tough game against the Seattle Seahawks on the schedule this season, so they need all the wins they can get from here.
Washington, at 5-3-1, is well behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East, but not far behind many other teams who may compete for a wild card berth at the end of the season. Washington is still in the driver's seat for a playoff spot and beat the Vikings in its last outing. But can it beat the Packers?
As far as experts are concerned, the home team is slightly favored, but not everywhere. Five of the eight CBS Sports analysts think the Packers will win. At ESPN, things go the other way, with seven of nine writers going with Washington to win the game.
Here at SB Nation, our panel leans slightly toward Washington at home.

Of the nine experts picking at SB Nation, six plus the OddsShark computer think Washington will win, and three picked the Packers. It’s an interesting shift in fortunes given Green Bay’s expectations coming into the season.
