Jimmy Garoppolo could be the best Black Friday deal of all. The Saints and Browns are said to be the two teams to watch.

Tony Romo’s trade value may not be worth as much as you think. The Cowboys may not get much for Romo if they end up moving on from the veteran quarterback.

Colin Kaepernick could opt out of his deal with the 49ers after this season. But will he? If he does, he could catch on with a new team looking for a quarterback.

Kirk Cousins has been too good for Washington not to pay him. After a rocky start to the season, Cousins has made a strong case for his future in Washington.

MORE DEALS

Terrelle Pryor has become an elite receiver. If you think about it, 724 yards and four touchdowns is pretty amazing considering that Browns offense. Also, he’s only making $1.6 million this year, but it’s the last year of his contract, so expect that to go up.

David Johnson accounts for more than one-third of the Cardinals’ offensive production, but he takes up less than $1 million in cap space. He’s got two more years on his rookie deal and one more before he can renegotiate it. He and Edgerrin James are the only two players in NFL history with at least 100 yards from scrimmage in through the first 10 games of the season.

DEZ VS. NORMAN: Dez Bryant and Josh Norman’s feud couldn’t have come at a better time. Two superstars on rival teams exchanging a heated war of words with the promise of more to come ... it couldn’t have come at a better time.

LIONS ON TOP: The Lions made themselves a nice cushion at the top of the NFC North standings. The Lions’ win over the Vikings gave them some breathing room, but there’s still plenty of work to be done.

IT’S NOT BRADFORD’S FAULT: Is Sam Bradford really the Vikings’ biggest problem? The Minnesota Vikings may have problems, but the quarterback really isn’t one.

FOUR AND A HALF MINUTES OF SONG: Aretha Franklin’s beautiful rendition of the national anthem took four minutes and 30 seconds to complete. Legendary.

TURKEY LEG TRADITION: The Turkey Leg Award is the best NFL football on Thanksgiving tradition. Praise John Madden.

PITTSBURGH IS GOOD AGAIN: Steelers back on track after beating Colts, 28-7, in crushing fashion.

AT LEAST THE FAKE PUNT WORKED: The Colts had a fake punt that worked, so there was that. In their first Thanksgiving home game in franchise history, the Indianapolis Colts didn’t have much to be thankful for besides a halftime ceremony honoring Tony Dungy and Marvin Harrison and a fake ...

NFL PLAYOFF PICTURE: Cowboys are one step closer to a first-round bye. All three games on Thursday had serious playoff implications.

SEAHAWKS TALK POLITICS: Pete Carroll wants the Seahawks to talk politics in the locker room. Pete Carroll has encouraged his team to address the tough discussions many coaches avoid.

BEER OR TICKETS? Ticket for the Giants-Browns game can be had for less than the price of a MetLife beer. Tickets start at $7.

BRADY NOT PRACTICING: Tom Brady missed practice again on Thursday. Brady was out along with a few other high profile players. I'm sure the Patriots, of all teams, will be perfectly forthcoming about their status for this week. Brady is expected to return to practice on Saturday.
