The Green Bay Packers are one of the most stable organizations in football, but they’ve definitely hit a rough patch, and have just four wins to six losses on the season. They’re underdogs heading into their matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
Packers vs. Eagles 2016, NFL picks and predictions: Experts somewhat split on Monday matchup
The Packers and Eagles are both struggling going into their primetime matchup on “Monday Night Football.”

Green Bay has lost its last four games and is just 1-4 on the road, while the Eagles, at 5-5, haven’t lost a game at home this season. The Packers as a whole have struggled this season, though it’s a defensive backfield that is allowing an unreal amount of yardage and points that’s hurt them the most.
The Eagles are coming off a loss, and have dropped three of their last four games. Still, their problems aren’t nearly as bad as Green Bay’s, and that’s why the experts are giving them a slight edge.
The CBS Sports panel is split down the middle, with four taking the Eagles and four going with the Packers. Of the nine experts at ESPN, five think the Eagles will win, leaving four picking Green Bay.
Here at SB Nation, it’s similar, but there’s more belief in the Eagles at home.
