During the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving win over Washington, Dak Prescott threw a mean stiff arm on safety Donte Whitner. Twice! The first time he did it in the first quarter as he ran for 18 yards, setting up a touchdown pass on the next play. The crowd went wild. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan was less enthused about his quarterback throwing stiff arms with his throwing arm.
Dak Prescott has no idea why Jerry Jones called him ‘the daddy’ after his awesome stiff arm
The Cowboys can’t stop talking about Dak Prescott’s stiff arm.

Linehan told the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram: “Yeah, he’s got that in his game. He told me after the play, he said, ‘I got lots of plays in college that I can show you that was part of my game.‘ I said, ‘Let’s see if we can get to the sideline and save the heroics.’”
The Cowboys haven’t stopped talking about the stiff arm. It’s the play that prompted Jerry Jones to call Prescott “the daddy,” a description that Prescott wasn’t immediately sure about.
“I don’t know what that means,” Prescott said. “I have no kids. Don’t want any.”
PACK IS BACK: Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams lead Green Bay to 27-13 win. Rodgers looked like himself in a big victory for the Pack. Maybe it was this mysterious tent on the Packers sideline.
RAMILY MATTERS: Jeff Fisher alienated the L.A. Rams' most famous alumnus, Eric Dickerson. The Hall of Famer says he’s not welcome by Los Angeles’ coach anymore. Things are getting tense in Los Angeles! Even Fisher and Gregg Williams were fighting over the Rams’ "7-and-9 bulls**t." Only Fisher is allowed to make pathetic excuses for his terrible team.
FIXING THE CARDINALS: Bruce Arians has no idea how to fix the Cardinals’ passing game. Arizona has the same personnel in place from last year, but it’s just not working.
RAIDERS RULE: Oakland Raiders are the captains of the awesome mess that is the AFC West. The four teams in the AFC West have embraced volatility and are doing whatever it takes to put together wins. No team more so than the Raiders.
FEUD OVER? Josh Norman backtracks on claim that Dez Bryant said “Where I’m from, we unload the clip.” Dez Bryant and Josh Norman both downplay their Thanksgiving Day feud.
MODEST PATRIOTS: Patriots continue to be great, but they don't like to talk about it. The Patriots are the best team in the AFC, but you’d never know that by the way they carry themselves. Tom Brady got so much respect from the Jets that nobody hit him. Wow.
WRINKLE IN THE RULES: NFL teams are winning by being penalized and it has to stop. The 49ers and Ravens have both intentionally drawn holding penalties to waste time.
MOCK DRAFT: Myles Garrett and defenders star. Quarterbacks will get the attention, but the top players in next year’s draft are on defense.
RETHINKING KUBIAK’S DECISION: Broncos made two big mistakes that cost them a win over the Chiefs. The Broncos, like all NFL teams, are programmed to score, and that was their downfall Sunday night against the Chiefs.
NFL PLAYOFF PICTURE: Cowboys are another game closer to clinching the NFC’s top spot. The Giants aren’t going away, though.
POWER RANKINGS: Down go the Seahawks. The issues that held the Seahawks back early in the season came roaring back in Week 12.
