The Chargers got an "L" on Tuesday at the ballot box. San Diego voters rejected a ballot measure that would have raised the hotel tax to help build a new downtown stadium and convention center, seen by some as a necessary step in preventing the team from leaving. The final tally was 43 percent in favor and 57 percent opposed. It needed a full 66 percent approval to pass.
Is that it for the Chargers in San Diego?

This does open the door for the Chargers to move to Los Angeles, but there are signs that they may not be done trying in San Diego.
