Carson Wentz is a rookie quarterback. Hence, he’s prone to doing rookie things — like unleashing the world’s least effective spin move.
Carson Wentz’s poorly timed spin move was super ineffective
He’s a passer, not a runner.
Wentz couldn’t get away from Baltimore Ravens pass rusher Elvis Dumervil, and his ill-timed juke just managed to put the ball where his pursuer could easily knock it from his grasp. The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback was drilled for a sack, but was able to get back onto the field to recover the ball for a loss of 4 yards.
The play eventually led to a Philadelphia punt, but a Joe Flacco fumble on the ensuing drive put the Eagles in position to take an 11-10 lead early in the second quarter.
