Jerry Jones has always been known for his high-profile coaching hires. He brought icons like Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells, and Barry Switzer to the Cowboys’ sideline.
Cowboys unveil their latest coaching hire — WCW legend Sting — in a Twitter video
The pro wrestling icon took on a new role after retiring from the ring.

His latest hire is sure to make a splash as well. A Stinger splash.
The Cowboys took to Twitter to announced they’d hired WCW legend Sting to handle their most fictional staff position. The 56-year-old wrestler, who announced his retirement from the squared circle in his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech this Spring, is now the franchise’s Intimidation Coach. He’ll be in charge of face painting, stink-eyeing, and other key aspects of the mental game at AT&T Stadium.
Plenty of Dallas standouts joined the veteran grappler for the video. Ezekiel Elliott was all too happy to don some face paint and get tips from the seven-time world heavyweight champion. Jason Witten was not as enthused.
Tuesday’s video was an example of how fun the franchise can be when it’s winning; there’s no way a 7-7 Cowboys team would put forth this kind of effort for a two-minute running joke. Hopefully Dallas can finish its season on a high note, allowing us to see how Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase would look as the team’s Director of Payroll, or how Mean Gene Okerlund would fare as the team’s latest sideline reporter.
