Antonio Brown’s fourth catch in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens was his 100th of the season, and that milestone moved him among some elite company in NFL history. With his fourth-straight season with 100+ receptions, Brown tied Marvin Harrison’s record of having the most consecutive years of triple-digit catches.
Antonio Brown ties NFL record with 4th straight season of 100+ catches
The Pittsburgh receiver joined elite company on Sunday.

Even better, it came against Pittsburgh’s most bitter rivals in the friendly confines of Heinz Field — and on Christmas Day, no less.
It hasn’t been an explosive day for Brown, who has just 23 yards on four receptions, but a long play down the right sideline came back due to an offensive pass interference penalty early in the game.
Brown has emerged as the league’s top receiver after a slow start to his professional career. The former Central Michigan standout caught just 16 passes as a rookie before exploding for 1,108 receiving yards in his sophomore campaign. He recorded his first 100+ reception season in 2013 when he hauled in 110 catches, then upped the ante by catching 129 in 2014 and 136 in 2015, leading the league both seasons (though he tied for the top spot with Julio Jones in ‘15).
With another outstanding performance, Brown put some of the league’s best players in his rear view.

Brown will need to continue playing at the top of his game to push his Steelers to the playoffs. Pittsburgh overcame a 4-5 start to take over first place in the AFC North, but need to get past the Ravens on Sunday to lock down the divisional crown. If the All-Pro wideout can carve up his rivals once more, it could be the difference between going to the playoffs and going on vacation this January.
