The Miami Dolphins were left for dead after a 1-4 start, but six straight wins have propelled them into the playoff race. They’ll try to keep their hot streak going when they face the division-leading Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 13. The game is televised on CBS, which allows its All-Access subscribers to watch NFL games online. Sunday Ticket subscribers can also view it on its streaming website.

Miami improved to 7-4 after a 31-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers. With the Denver Broncos’ overtime loss on Sunday Night Football, the Dolphins currently hold the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoffs. That’s quite an astonishing turnaround for a team that looked so lifeless in September, and Adam Gase could be garnering some Coach of the Year hype for his efforts.

A big reason for the Dolphins’ improvement has been the emergence of Jay Ajayi. With Ryan Tannehill struggling and Arian Foster retiring midseason, Gase decided to commit to Ajayi as a workhorse running back. He’s been one of the league’s better backs this year, ranking seventh with 847 rushing yards despite playing a bit role early in the season. Ajayi is also averaging 5.3 yards per carry and has scored seven touchdowns.

Tannehill is still mostly a game manager, but he’s been far more efficient during the Dolphins’ winning streak, throwing nine touchdowns to just one interception in his last five games. On the season, Tannehill is averaging 7.8 yards per attempt, which would be a career high. The Dolphins still have a lot to prove — only two of their seven wins came against teams with winning records — but playing meaningful football in December is a significant improvement after years of being a rudderless franchise.

The Ravens moved to 6-5 with a 19-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. They’re tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North, but currently hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. Their Week 16 rematch could end up deciding the division title. Baltimore hasn’t played a lot of pretty football this year, thanks to a poor offense, but the defense is doing more than enough to keep the team in games and carry it to a winning record.

Joe Flacco simply hasn’t been that good this year, coming off a torn ACL that ended his 2015 season early. He has just 11 touchdown passes in 11 games, to go with 10 interceptions. His 80.4 QB rating is the third-lowest of his career, while his 6.4 yards per attempt is the lowest. Despite the presence of Steve Smith and Mike Wallace, Baltimore is 24th in the league with just 19.8 points per game.

Fortunately, the defense has been outstanding this year, ranking second in yards allowed per game and fourth in points allowed per game. Elvis Dumervil returned from a foot injury last week and made an instant impact, getting a strip-sack on Andy Dalton that ultimately decided the game. Dumervil pairing with a resurgent Terrell Suggs means Baltimore has a fearsome pass-rushing duo that’s at full strength once again. That spells trouble for Tannehill and a Dolphins offensive line still struggling with injuries.
