NFL Combine 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online for Sunday

Joey Bosa and his fellow defensive linemen will hit the field for their workouts on Sunday.

The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine rolls on into Sunday, with the defensive linemen and linebackers hitting the field for their workouts. We will also get to see the defensive backs take their turn at the bench press.

Saturday was the biggest day of the Combine weekend. The quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends did the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone drill and shuttle run, before taking part in their positional workouts. Carson Wentz and Jared Goff were the star attractions of the day, and neither player disappointed. Wentz ran a 4.77 40 time, among the best at his position, while Goff excelled at the on-field position drills. It appears to be a neck-and-neck race as to which one will be the first quarterback drafted this year.

Sunday’s workouts will be headlined by Joey Bosa, widely expected to be the first defensive lineman off the board. He was a do-it-all force at Ohio State and should ace the on-field drills. Another name to watch is DeForest Buckner from Oregon, who could be the second pass rusher drafted after Bosa.

This linebacker class is headlined by two top talents who are unfortunately injured at the moment. Myles Jack is still rehabbing from a torn meniscus and won’t participate in any drills in Indianapolis, although he did do the bench press on Saturday. His prognosis is much better than Jaylon Smith, who had some sad news at his medical checks this week. A physical revealed that Smith, who tore his ACL and LCL in the Fiesta Bowl, has nerve damage in his knee and may have to sit out the 2016 season. It’s a similar injury to Marcus Lattimore, whose NFL career ended before it began thanks to a devastating knee injury.

The defensive linemen and linebackers aren’t the only players under the microscope Sunday -- we’ll also see the defensive backs do the bench press. This year’s consensus top back is Jalen Ramsey, the versatile player from Florida State. He compares favorably to Tyrann Mathieu as a player who excels at both cornerback and safety. Whichever team drafts him will have a good problem to have as to what position they play him at. Vernon Hargreaves and Eli Apple are other names to watch at cornerback this year. The defensive backs will do their on-field drills Monday, the last day of the Combine.

NFL Network will have wall-to-wall coverage of the event starting at 9 a.m. ET, with a three-hour replay later in the afternoon. The defensive linemen and linebackers will get the bulk of attention while the defensive backs go through their interviews and do the bench press. It promises to be an exciting day even with the glitzy position players leaving Indianapolis.
