Many believe Peyton Manning could be playing his final game on Sunday, but the Los Angeles Rams have discussed the possibility of adding the 14-time Pro Bowler if he decides to keep playing after Super Bowl 50, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Rams have discussed adding Peyton Manning in 2016 for some reason
Manning is scheduled to turn 40 in March, but the Rams have discussed the possibility of adding the 14-time Pro Bowler.

Manning, who will turn 40 in March, is scheduled to count $21.5 million against the salary cap of the Denver Broncos in 2016, making it unlikely that he would return to the team with that contract. His $19 million base salary for 2016 is scheduled to become fully guaranteed on March 9, so if Manning elects to return for another year, the Broncos won't have much time to work with to agree to a new deal to keep him with the team.
The Rams have plenty of problems at the quarterback position, with neither Nick Foles nor Case Keenum playing particularly well in 2015. The team finished No. 32 in total offense, but were 7-9 on the season, landing the team the No. 15 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Adding Manning would be a quick stopgap for the Rams to give them an experienced quarterback who could try to make them competitive in their first season in Los Angeles, but he would have to play better than he did in 2015.
While dealing with plantar fascia, Manning finished the regular season with nine touchdowns and 17 interceptions. His 67.9 passer rating was the worst of his career after 11 consecutive seasons with a rating of at least 95, with the exception of the 2011 season, which was lost due to neck injuries.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is expected to be released soon, has received interest from the Rams, as well as the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.
