Super Bowl score by quarter: Broncos win 24-10

The game is over, the final score is in, and it’s time to figure out who’s taking the top prize in your Super Bowl squares pool.

Super Bowl 50 is over, and the Denver Broncos will be taking home the Lombardi Trophy after beating the Carolina Panthers by a final score of 24-10. If you've been playing along with a Super Bowl squares pool and you have the squares for Denver 4 and Carolina 0, congratulations, because that means you're taking home the top prize tonight too.

Squares is a very basic fantasy game that’s accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of football knowledge or interest. It’s centered around a grid, and each square on the grid represents a pair of numbers from 0-9. Players throw money in the pot to purchase squares, and at the end of each quarter, the person who owns the square with the final digit of the point total of each team wins the payout for that quarter.

The end of the game is obviously the final payout, so if you were the winner, congratulations. If you didn’t manage to win tonight, talk your friends who did win into buying you a drink. You deserve it.

For a quick refresher, the typical squares game has payouts at the end of each quarter, and some square masters like to up the payout for the halftime and final scores. There's even a strategy for playing this game, albeit not a very complex one.
