The Browns might finally cut Johnny Manziel on Friday ... maybe

According to reports, the Browns could officially be done with Johnny Manziel by the end of the day on Friday.

Browns to cut Manziel on Friday, per report. We’ve heard this before, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen. There was some talk that the Browns wanted to try and trade him. Who knows. Nothing the Browns have done this month makes any sense.

BUCKEYES OVER BROWNS? 57 percent of polled Ohioans think Ohio State would beat the Browns. Unlikely, but given the state of the Browns, who knows!

GRADING FREE AGENCY: Winners and losers from Day 2 of NFL free agency. The Raiders have made a huge splash in free agency. The Browns ... not so much.

RISKY BUSINESS: The seven riskiest signings of NFL free agency so far. Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones are getting paid well thanks to new free agent deals, but can they match the expectations that come with it?

LIONS IN WINTER: Bob Quinn lives up to promise of building the Lions depth. Bob Quinn’s mantra this offseason has been depth-building. On Day 2 of free agency, he lived up to that promise. That’s probably the best move for the Lions at this point.

NOT LAZY ANYMORE: Janoris Jenkins vowed to stop “being lazy” at the end of games. New cornerback makes a curious remark during his introductory press conference. Should Giants fans be concerned?

BRUCE ARIANS IS A FREE AGENCY HIPSTER: Bruce Arians isn’t as excited about free agency as you are. The Cardinals coach explained his team’s quiet approach to free agency this year.

KAEPERNICK TRADE RUMORS: 49ers, Broncos nearing a Colin Kaepernick trade, maybe. The two sides have reportedly agreed on the compensation for a deal, and now they're said to be working on a new contract for the QB. But ... Kaepernick says wants to play with Hue Jackson, Browns. This sounds like a negotiation tactic from Kaepernick's side.

GENO'S BACK IN THE PICTURE: Are the Jets Comfortable with Geno Smith? They might not have a choice!

DON’T DO IT, RG3! Robert Griffin III “very much wants” to be a Los Angeles Ram. Hmm, if RG3 is going to get his career back on the right track, playing for Jeff Fisher seems like the worst move he could make.

WEDDLE’S BEARD IS BEING COURTED: Eric Weddle mulling several offers as Raiders make their case. The former Chargers safety is the highest ranking free agent on our top 100 list who hasn’t signed a deal yet, but that might be coming soon.

SEAHAWKS KEEP A WR: Jermaine Kearse re-signs with Seahawks for three years. Underrated move for the Seahawks. Now, if only he could play on the offensive line.

PEOPLE ARE MAD AT THE SUPER BOWL: Here are all of the emails angry people sent to the FCC about Beyoncé‘s Super Bowl performance. The Super Bowl halftime show, and even some of the commercials, sure seemed to make people mad!
