It's Friday, which means the NFL is handing out suspensions. Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin, Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jalen Collins and Tennessee Titans wide receiver Andrew Turzilli were each suspended four games by the league, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. In addition, Green Bay Packers cornerback Demetri Goodson also received a four-game suspension, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Jaguars CB Aaron Colvin among 4 NFL players suspended for PEDs Friday
Colvin was a big contributor for the Jaguars last season, but joins Jalen Collins, Andrew Turzilli and Demetri Goodson with a four-game suspension on Friday.

All four players were suspended for violating the league’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs. All of the players will be allowed to take part in offseason practices, training camp and preseason games but will miss the first four games of the regular season.
Colvin, a fourth-round pick in 2014, started 15 of 16 games with the Jaguars last season, and put up 73 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. He acknowledged the suspension on his Twitter account, making the following statement:
“I made a mistake and will take responsibility for it. I apologize to my family, the Jaguars organization, especially my coaches and teammates, as well as the Jaguars fans for being supportive of me since I was drafted here in 2014. I will learn from this. I will grow from this. I will be a better man and player from this. I will not let this define me and I will overcome this. Thank you.”
Collins is the other big name on that list. The Falcons defensive back was taken in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft and played in all 16 games as a rookie. He recorded 17 tackles and made two starts.
“We are disappointed to hear the news regarding Jalen today,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said in a statement. “I have already spoken to Jalen about this, and I have no doubt this will be something that he will learn from.”
Collins was obviously a big part of Atlanta’s plans going forward, so this hurts the young player’s career significantly, at least in the short term.
Goodson was a sixth-round pick in 2014 and has just 11 tackles in 20 games played with the Packers.
Turzilli was an undrafted receiver out of Rutgers and was added to the Titans active roster in November of last season. He is notable for his strong Pro Day at Rutgers, running a 4.4-second 40-yard dash that turned heads and likely got the Titans interested. Turzilli dealt with injury concerns as a rookie, suffering a high-ankle sprain in training camp that limited his potential to cause an impact early in his career.
