Mark Sanchez is now the NFL’s Kirk Van Houten. Can he borrow a feeling?

What’s it feel like when nobody wants you anymore?

SIEMIAN THE STARTER: Trevor Siemian is the Broncos starting quarterback. The Broncos announced that second-year quarterback Siemian would be the starting quarterback for the defending Super Bowl champs.

WHAT ABOUT SANCHEZ? The Broncos looking to trade Mark Sanchez. If they don't find a taker, he could be cut. Will they deal him to the Cowboys? They called the Cowboys to see if they'd be interested, given the need for a veteran backup, but Dallas reportedly doesn't want his current contract, which pays him $4.5 million this year. Understandable.

There’s even the possibility that the Broncos don’t even know who Mark Sanchez is.

BROWNS CUT KRUGER: Browns cut OLB Paul Kruger. A pricey free agent signing in 2013, Kruger never really became the pass rusher the Browns envisioned. He also took a little shot at the team on his way out.

CUTS TRACKER: Follow all the roster cuts with our tracker. Today is the deadline for teams to go from 90 to 75 players.

BOSA & THE CHARGERS CAN BE FRIENDS AGAIN: Joey Bosa's holdout is over. The Chargers gave some ground on the signing bonus, but kept the offset language in the deal. Bosa then took a moment to respond to his critics in a press conference.

THE BEST KAEPERNICK COLUMN YOU’LL READ: Kaepernick is asking for justice, not peace. Friday night, in a league whose business is Americana, Colin Kaepernick took a stand rarely seen in pro sports.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE NFC SOUTH? Lowering expectations isn't easy, but like it or not, the Falcons may be headed for a "hard reset." Expectations are a tricky thing. The New Orleans Saints are a disaster, but how did it get to this? The Saints have been anything but good in the preseason, we take a look at how and why they have gotten to this point.

MEGATRON GOES DANCING: Calvin Johnson is going to be on Dancing with the Stars. Jana Kramer, Marilu Henner, Rick Perry and James Hinchcliffe will also join the cast.

BUCS GAME RESCHEDULED: Washington vs. Buccaneers moved to Wednesday due to severe weather. Tropical Depression Nine is set to hit Tampa on Thursday, so the league and the Bucs moved their preseason game to 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

PEYTON ROASTS BRADY: Peyton Manning was one of the roasters for Rob Lowe, but he couldn’t resist a little shot at his former rival, Tom Brady.
