Chiefs vs. Texans, NFL picks and predictions 2016: Experts think Brock Osweiler will earn 2nd win

Despite a comeback win in Week 1, experts aren’t hot on the Chiefs against the Texans in Week 2.

The Kansas City Chiefs looked well on their way to a loss in their season opener against the AFC West rival San Diego Chargers, facing a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter. But the Chiefs rallied to force overtime, where they beat the Chargers, 33-27. Now, they will hope to carry some momentum into Sunday's Week 2 match against the Houston Texans.

Like the Chiefs, the Texans also earned a win in Week 1, though their 23-14 victory over the Chicago Bears was much easier. Brock Osweiler, who was awarded a massive contract despite minimal starting experience, had a solid debut for Houston. He completed 22 of 35 passes for 231 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Osweiler will be looking to make it two productive games in a row when he and the Texans face the Chiefs on Sunday. Last time these two teams played, the Chiefs were running over the Texans for a 30-0 win in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. But who is favored in this matchup?

Over at CBS Sports, the eight experts narrowly favored the Texans to win, with five picking Houston and three picking Kansas City. The ESPN panel almost reached a consensus, going with the Texans by an 8-1 margin.

Here at SB Nation, Houston is also heavily favored:
