The Wild Card is over, and there are just two games remaining in the Divisional round. Sunday will feature four teams that have a legitimate shot at advancing to the next round in the chase for a Super Bowl LI victory.
NFL playoffs schedule 2017: Steelers vs. Chiefs, Packers vs. Cowboys battle on Sunday
The Divisional round concludes Sunday with two more highly anticipated matchups.
The first game of the Divisional round will be between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys.
Green Bay is fresh off a 38-13 win against the New York Giants. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to show fans why he is an MVP candidate. He used his athleticism to extend plays and made some incredible throws from the pocket, including a jaw-dropping Hail Mary to end the first half.
Rodgers threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns. His leading receiver and go-to target, Jordy Nelson, left the game in the second quarter with a rib injury and did not return. Rodgers still engineered great drives without him, though.
Green Bay’s rushing attack, led by running back Ty Montgomery, is struggling with consistency, but Rodgers is doing a great job of using his arm talent to win games for the Packers.
Now, Rodgers will have to do all of that again on the road against Dallas.
The Cowboys, who are the first seed in the NFC, were hard to stop this season behind rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. With 1,631 yards on the ground, Elliott was the league’s leading rusher and his 15 touchdowns were third-best in the NFL.
Prescott has limited turnovers and made plays with his arm and legs, helping lead Dallas’ high-octane offense. The final game of the Divisional round should be a shootout.

The final game on Sunday is between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Because of an incoming ice storm, the league had to reschedule the game to 8:20 p.m. ET. This matchup was originally supposed to air at 1:05 p.m ET.
Pittsburgh is coming off a 30-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round. It now has to travel to Kansas City to face a tough defensive unit.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and receiver Antonio Brown hooked up on two long touchdown plays in the first quarter, and Miami’s defense struggled all game long. While the two veterans had good games, it was running back Le’Veon Bell who stole the show.
He used his rare blend of speed, power, and agility to wreak havoc on the Dolphins. Miami knew Pittsburgh wanted to run the ball, but it couldn’t stop the young runner. Bell put up 167 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
The Chiefs, who had a first-round bye, have had a great season so far. Their defense played really well, quarterback Alex Smith took care of the football, and rookie receiver Tyreek Hill emerged as the team’s most dangerous player. All of that is what led to Kansas City winning the AFC West.
The Chiefs defense will have its work cut out for it, and Smith will have to lead his team to the end zone a couple of times to hang with Pittsburgh’s high-powered offense.
