Cole Beasley picks up 1st down, immediately gets upended with mammoth hit

Beasley was nearly beheaded by this crushing tackle.

Cole Beasley is a tough guy. He was able to walk off a monster hit from Packers defensive back Kentrell Brice and push his Cowboys into the red zone late in the second quarter of Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game.

Brice nearly decapitated Beasley, capping off the 18-yard reception with a punishing hit. The damage was done, however. The Cowboy receiver returned to the huddle after setting his struggling offense up deep in Packers territory. His catch set up a first-and-10 situation from the 15-yard line and an eventual Dan Bailey field goal.

The Cowboys trail the Packers, 21-13, with just a minute left in the first half.
