This weekend, the NFL Players Association presents the Collegiate Bowl, its annual all-star game for former college players. Although this game doesn’t have the prestige or star power of the Senior Bowl, the Collegiate Bowl is still a valuable showcase for NFL hopefuls who will be eager to impress scouts, coaches, and executives in attendance.
NFLPA Collegiate Bowl 2017 rosters: Greg Ward Jr. leads National team
Here are the complete rosters for this week’s NFLPA Bowl.

The players are split up into the National and American teams, with Mike Martz coaching the National side and Jim Zorn leading the American team. The biggest name on this year’s squad is former Houston quarterback Greg Ward Jr.
Ward entered the season with some minor Heisman buzz as Houston was projected to earn a New Year’s Six bowl spot. The Cougars ultimately fell short of expectations at 9-4, but Ward still had a fine season with 3,557 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, although he did throw 13 interceptions. He’ll need to have a strong performance in this game and avoid costly mistakes as he hopes to earn a spot in the NFL draft.
On the American side is QB Ryan Higgins, who had a prolific year in Louisiana Tech’s high-octane passing attack. Higgins scorched opposing defenses with 4,617 yards and 41 touchdowns to just eight interceptions, leading the Bulldogs to a 9-5 record and bowl victory.
The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl kicks off at 4:15 p.m. ET Saturday and can be seen on Fox Sports 1. Here are the complete rosters below:
