Super Bowl 2017: Arthur Blank is taking every Falcons employee to Houston

That’s a lot of people! It’s also an awesome move for the Falcons.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank has a net worth of about $3 billion and a team that’s heading to the Super Bowl for the first time in 18 years.

So he’s putting two and two together and taking everyone who works for the organization to the game with him.

Yeah. Everyone.

A quick count of the Falcons staff directory (not including football operations staff and Falcons executives) comes to 269 employees. On Stubhub.com, immediately following the AFC Championship the cheapest tickets to the Super Bowl were selling for $3,675.

Let’s do some math.

269 X 3675 = $988,575

Blank is about to drop a minimum 100 grand on tickets alone (there’s still travel expenses to factor in) on people he already pays — and there’s probably plenty more employees not listed on that directory who will make the trip and much better seats awaiting them than what’s listed on the resale market.

Billions in the bank or not, that is how you celebrate winning your conference.

So if you’re a die-hard Atlanta fan, or just want to go to the Super Bowl without taking out a mortgage, be advised that the Falcons website currently lists 14 job openings.

Your signing bonus might just be a free trip to Houston in two weeks, courtesy of Arthur Blank.
