It may not be a huge surprise, but New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the favorite at 3-to-2 to succeed Von Miller as Super Bowl MVP, according to Bovada. Brady has three Super Bowl MVPs to his name already, and a fourth would break his tie with Joe Montana and give him more than any other player in history. Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has the second best odds at 5-to-2, with receivers Julio Jones and Julio Edelman following at 10-to-1 and 12-to-1, respectively.

Brady missed the Patriots’ first four games due to suspension, but still had a season that most quarterbacks would love to have. He compiled over 3,500 yards, and had 28 touchdowns against just two interceptions. Over 1,000 of those yards and three touchdowns went to his teammate Julian Edelman.

Ryan, who is the NFL MVP favorite, had the best season of his career. He threw for 4,944 yards and 38 touchdowns, both career highs. He also threw just seven interceptions, a career low for him. He and Julio Jones made for arguably the best quarterback-receiver duo in the NFL, as Jones finished second in the NFL in receiving yards, despite missing two games this season.

There are plenty more talented players in this game who could very well step up and win MVP. Running backs have won the award seven times, second-most of any position. LeGarrette Blount, Devonta Freeman, and Tevin Coleman are all running backs who can rip your heart out with one big play. At receiver, Chris Hogan is coming off of a huge game for the Patriots in the AFC Championship, with nine reception for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, linebacker Vic Beasley has the best odds at 25-to-1. He was the NFL’s sack leader for the season with 15.5. But even though Miller won the award a year ago, oddsmakers love the quarterbacks, who have won Super Bowl MVP 27 times in the past.
