The winless New York Giants will try to improve their standing against the tough Denver Broncos under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football for Week 6. They play at 8:30 p.m. on NBC (live streaming available via NBC Sports).
Giants vs. Broncos 2017: Start time, TV schedule for ‘Sunday Night Football’
The Broncos return from a bye to face the winless Giants on “Sunday Night Football.” We have all you need to know to watch.

New York is ravaged by injuries, and on top of that, they now have to deal with a suspended player in corner Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He was suspended by the team for abruptly leaving practice on Wednesday, meaning Eli Apple should return to the starting lineup.
The Broncos, on the other hand, are incredibly well-rested after an early season bye week, and prior to that scored a big divisional rivalry win over the Oakland Raiders. Confidence should be plenty high for Denver at this stage.
New York has had decent play from some key players, but quarterback Eli Manning has still struggled with turnovers He’s completed 67.8 percent of his passes for 1,338 yards and eight touchdowns, but has thrown five interceptions. The Giants have also been out-gained on the ground, 695 yards to just 389. Orleans Darkwa leads the team with 122 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Trevor Siemian hasn’t exactly been lights out for the Broncos, and has four interceptions of his own. He’s completed 62.7 percent of his passes for 888 yards and seven touchdowns to go with his four picks.
Siemian has a lot more to work with than Manning does, especially now. Odell Beckham Jr., Dwayne Harris and Brandon Marshall are Manning’s top three receivers, and all were lost to season-ending injuries. It’s been a tough week for the Giants overall.
Below is all you need to know to watch Sunday’s game, as well as news, odds, prediction, and more.
How to Watch New York vs. Denver

- Odds: The Broncos opened as nine-point favorites
Giants vs. Broncos news:
- The Giants, in addition to needing help at wide receiver, are hurting on the offensive line. They have tried out five different offensive linemen, and took visits from two others.
- While the Giants are severely depleted due to injury, it’s nearly all hands on deck for the Broncos. They will be without Cody Latimer and Paxton Lynch, while everyone else is fairly healthy and not worthy of being on the injury report.
- Determining who the Giants will declare inactive for Sunday’s game should be pretty easy, as their official Friday injury report ruled out a total of six players. That’s in addition to all the players who recently went on injured reserve.
- Giants fans are worried about Manning given that Von Miller is on the other side of the field. Miller will be working against a depleted offensive line, and that means Manning will be under fire:
Miller generally lines up over the right tackle, and Giants right tackle Bobby Hart was atrocious last week. Joey Bosa absolutely abused him. If Hartplays, and I’m not convinced that the Giants won’t once again shuffle the offensive line and put Justin Pugh at right tackle, the Giants will have to give Hart help. A lot of it. Chip blocks, lining a tight end up on that side as often as possible. Whatever it takes.
- The Rodgers-Cromartie suspension is a big deal, and the team still isn’t entirely clear what’s happening. Head coach Ben McAdoo hasn’t discussed the suspension with the rest of the team, and that’s a problem, according to Big Blue View.
Giants vs. Broncos prediction:
Unsurprisingly, experts aren’t big on picking the Giants right now. Here at SB Nation, all eight of our experts are going with the Broncos to win, and they’re joined by the Odds Shark computer. There is little reason to think the Giants have a shot at winning Sunday’s game.
