The Pittsburgh Steelers needed a big play to keep a clock-draining drive alive. What they got was a little luck and a highlight-reel touchdown.
Antonio Brown’s one-handed TD catch off of a tipped pass is MAGIC
Phillip Gaines deflected a touchdown pass off his face and into Antonio Brown’s hands. Well, hand.

Ben Roethlisberger’s third-and-2 pass at his own 49 yard line looked like a sure interception. Instead, it bounced through Phillip Gaines’ hands, off his facemask, and to Antonio Brown.
Brown snatched the ball with one hand, then rumbled into the end zone. Suddenly, a 12-10 advantage became a 19-10 one, putting Kansas City’s undefeated streak in serious jeopardy.
It looks even more ridiculous from the opposite sideline.
What it means for the Steelers: Pittsburgh, who got ripped by Jacksonville 30-9 last week, is in excellent position to knock off the NFL’s last undefeated team. The touchdown pass was Ben Roethlisberger’s first of the game. If he can hold off the Chiefs, he’ll move to 7-0 against Kansas City in games he’s started and finished.
What it means for the Chiefs: A poorly-timed brain fart erased Kansas City’s momentum, but the club came back to kick a field goal on its ensuing drive. The Chiefs still have a shot — but they’ll need their luck to pull a 180 to get there.
