Colts vs. Titans live stream: How to watch ‘Monday Night Football’ online

The Colts will take on the Titans as the featured “Monday Night Football” matchup for Week 6. We have all you need to watch.

The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts both think they’re better than their 2-3 records indicate, and both will try and get to .500 when they face each other on Monday Night Football. The game will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN (live streaming via WatchESPN).

Indianapolis has been without quarterback Andrew Luck all season due to shoulder surgery during the off months. He returned to practice a week ago, but won’t be ready in time to face the Titans on Monday.

Jacoby Brissett has been starting for Indianapolis in the absence of Luck and he’s been mediocre at best. He’s completed 77 of 127 passes (60.6 percent) for 997 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Opposing teams have thrown for six more touchdowns and 400 more yards than the Colts have through five games.

The Titans have also been without Marcus Mariota due to injury, and Matt Cassel has not been good in relief. Cassel has completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 162 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions. He’s been a lot worse than Mariota, and the Titans have looked bad without him.

As of Monday morning, reports suggested that Mariota would be able to play in Monday’s game.

Tennessee is trying to recover from a very rough patch. They lost, 16-10, to the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, and before that were completely annihilated at the hands of the Houston Texans. They allowed the Texans to put up 57 points, and they’ll be feeling that one for awhile.

The AFC South is a weird division that could go in a number of directions. The Jacksonville Jaguars lead it at 3-2, while the Texans and Titans have both flashed moments of high-level play. The division winner could wind up being 8-8, or they could win 11 games. A lot is up in the air right now.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Monday as well as news, odds, predictions and more.

Colts vs. Titans news:

  • The Titans continue to monitor the injury situation for Mariota. He’s practiced this week with the injured hamstring and hasn’t suffered any setbacks. The team is hopeful that he can play on Monday against the Colts, though he’s been listed as a limited participant in practice.
  • A lot of things are going poorly for the Colts, but they remain relatively healthy outside of the Luck injury. There have been no injury-related surprises on the practice participation report this week.
  • Luck is still the biggest name for both teams on the injury report, though he’s already been ruled out for Week 6. The good news is that he’s progressing to 7-on-7’s in practice this week. He should be back in the near future, but not just yet.
  • The Titans might be the best team in the AFC South ... when Mariota is healthy. Music City Miracles thinks it’s a much different story when Matt Cassel is the man in charge:

Now that I have talked about how good the Titans are, they are the worst team in the division with Matt Cassel under center. We have talked about his limitations ad nauseam this week. He can’t make about 75% of the throws an NFL quarterback should be able to make. If the offensive line isn’t elite, which it hasn’t been this year, this team won’t win very many games (if any) with Cassel at quarterback.

Colts vs. Titans prediction:

Of the eight experts picking for SB Nation this week, only two of them saw fit to pick the Colts to win on Monday. The other six, plus the Odds Shark computer, believe the Titans will come out on top.
