Bill Belichick wants no part of Tom Brady’s dorky bro-hug

No one wants to celebrate with Tom Brady, ever.

After the Patriots’ 24-17 victory over the Jets, head coach Bill Belichick had no problem giving out some postgame bro hugs to his offensive linemen and defensive backs. Tom Brady, however, was a different story.

(h/t to Henry McKenna for pointing this out)

Brady was limited to just a handshake from the coach with whom he’s won five Super Bowls. For the future Hall of Famer, it’s just the latest in a string of awkward incidents.

Tom Brady’s teammates have a history of avoiding his celebratory high fives.

Like the time no one wanted to high-five him on his own sideline (just ignore the comment at the bottom. It is wrong.)

Or the other time none of his teammates wanted to high-five him.

Or the time he creeped everyone on his own team out except LeGarrette Blount with his weird, over-attached girlfriend face.

Of course, the man currently married to a supermodel and dashing enough to grace the cover of GQ’s awkwardess isn’t limited to interactions with teammates and staff.

Tom Brady is also super awkward whenever he’s not in the pocket devastating defenses

Like, for example, any time he runs outside of a one-yard QB sneak.

Or when his pump-fakes make him look like the least tan guy at the Jersey Shore in the wee hours of an August morning.

Or like when he actually dances like he’s doing a Russian military drill, specifically in a Migos dance-off with his favorite wide receiver.

Or when he celebrates his fifth Super Bowl ring by going back to his West Coast roots with a little Dr. Dre.

Or when a courtroom sketch artist makes him out to be some kind of multi-dimensional troll with frosted tips.

Actually, that last one probably isn’t his fault.
