Vernon Davis breaks free for 69-yard gain in Washington vs. Chiefs

Washington badly needed a spark in the third quarter. The Kansas City Chiefs erased a 10-0 deficit and Josh Norman left the game with severe rib injuries. The game was in danger of getting away from Washington.

And then Vernon Davis got them right back into it with a 69-yard catch-and-run. It was, as the kids might say, nice.

Two plays later, Kirk Cousins hit Ryan Grant in the end zone to give the lead back to Washington.

This game is nice.
