Seven and a half hours of hype.

Home & Family Felines wins Kitten Bowl

It sounds like the Patriots want Tom Brady to play for the rest of his life.

Adrian Peterson to the Dallas Cowboys? It could still happen.

Imagine DeAndre Hopkins catching passes from Brady — that would be scary.

That’s an interesting trio of quarterbacks on Shanahan’s radar, to say the least.

Whoop! The world of sports media will be a different place without Chris Berman.

Side effects of watching this speech include getting so hyped that you run through a brick wall.

“Devonta Freeman gotta hit them cuts and we gonna go to the house.”

Here come the Patriots, right on schedule.

Gaga is here.

The Falcons have their running back.

Super Bowl pregame info

Are you so hard-up for football you’re willing to listen to a man who once said field goals should no longer be a part of the game? FOX has got you covered.

The network will run seven and a half hours of pregame programming in the lead up to its broadcast of Super Bowl LI. That includes a full hour of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe and screeching ball of sinew Skip Bayless will hype the big game the only way they know how — as the NFL’s equivalent to two old ladies arguing over a shopping cart at the grocery store.

Fortunately, the pregame spread isn’t all bad. The day kicks off with an NFL Films presentation of Road to the Super Bowl, a look at the Patriots’ and Falcons’ respective journeys to the big game in Houston. The Emmy-award winning shop will pull the finest moments from the 2016 season to showcase each team’s case for the Lombardi Trophy.

The Super Bowl Kickoff show will follow Undisputed before segueing into the Super Bowl Pregame show, which somehow are two different things. The pregame show will feature all the faces you’ve come to know and expect from FOX’s football coverage — Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, James Brown, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, as well as two live performances from indie-pop band Fitz and the Tantrums and country act Zac Brown Band, presumably not at the same time.

The network will also keep its tradition of a pregame interview with the president alive, and this year it’s sure to be a doozy. President Donald Trump will sit down with Bill O’Reilly, who interviewed then-President Barack Obama the last two times FOX broadcast the big game.

O’Reilly prided himself on asking contentious questions in those chats with the former leader of America, but also suggested his interview with President Trump could be a bit less hard-hitting.

Given the controversy President Trump seems to stir up seemingly every day, there should be plenty of policy issues for O’Reilly to touch on before even getting to the Republican’s personal life.

In an exchange between Trump and O’Reilly released by Fox on Saturday, O’Reilly took issue with Trump saying he respected Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“But he’s a killer, though,” O’Reilly said. “Putin’s a killer.”

“There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers,” Trump said. “What do you think — our country’s so innocent?”

ESPN’s coverage will start at 11 a.m. ET with a three-hour airing of Postseason NFL Countdown, which will be Chris Berman’s final time hosting Sunday Countdown. All the usual analysts and hosts will be on air, but we’re watching to see what comes out of the mouths of Rex Ryan and Odell Beckham Jr.

NFL Network will broadcast an all-day NFL GameDay Morning — even well into the late afternoon — starting at 9 a.m. ET. Reporters will interview both head coaches, and you can also find out what LeBron James and Serena Williams think of Tom Brady and why Lil Jon and 2 Chainz love the Falcons so much.

If you’d rather spend your day with our animal friends, you’re in luck. The Kitten Bowl, Puppy Bowl, and Fish Bowl (yes really) will all air before the big game.
