What did you have for dinner last night? Was it fish? It was probably fish, which can be tasty. But while you were chowing down on salmon with the silent ‘l,’ a group of elite fish athletes were preparing for the biggest fish-centric sporting even of the year (non-fishing category).
Fish Bowl 2017: Time and TV schedule for an event airing during the middle of Super Bowl Sunday
One look at this game, and you’ll be hooked!

FISH BOWL IV!
The 2017 Fish Bowl bubbles up at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, aka Super Bowl Sunday. You can watch the Los Angeles Claims take on the Buffalo Gills in what is bound to be a historic battle of common household goldfish on the Nat Geo Wild channel.
You can even stream it online if they don’t have cable in your pond.
When you make it to the biggest game in the fish tank, your school obviously has some star power. But the biggest hook here is Goldie, an ordinary household goldfish making her Fish Bowl debut.
With speed and reflexes like that, Goldie will be the Cleveland Browns’ next starting quarterback before you know it! And you’ll be able to tell all your friends that you knew Goldie when she was just swimming around in the Fish Bowl
Joe Duck and Koi Aikman are calling the game. Don’t let the names fool you, these two penguins are flipping out to be in the booth for this one. There’s also a special halftime show featuring Lady Ahi Tuna. They’re keeping a net on any potential special guests who might join her, but that’s just a hook they use to keep you watching with baited breath. (Let’s just hope there’s no wardrobe malfunction to scare the gills off the censors.)
If the Kitten Bowl and the Puppy Bowl are just a little too corporate for you now, don’t miss Fish Bowl IV. Make this your choice for animal-related entertainment, you dolphinitely can’t do better.
Glub, glub!
