The Patriots won 32-29 in Super Bowl 38, 24-21 in Super Bowl 39, and 28-24 in Super Bowl 49. So the scoreless first quarter doesn’t mean this will be a low-scoring game, necessarily, or one that isn’t entertaining.
Matt Ryan doesn’t even have more than two passing attempts, either.
New England has to feel like it is in a good spot here. But hey, past performance isn’t an indication of future results.
