Patriots’ Super Bowl parade 2017: Scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m.

The Patriots will hold their fifth Super Bowl parade.

The New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, 34-28, at NRG Stadium in a thrilling overtime matchup. While Patriots fans will probably be celebrating the franchise’s fifth Super Bowl victory up until the 2017 season, the team itself will hold a parade.

This is an annual tradition in the NFL. Usually a few days after the big game, the Super Bowl-winning team holds a parade to celebrate the victory. The parade is scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET, Boston mayor Marty Walsh announced:

The last time the Patriots won the Super Bowl was in 2015 against the Seattle Seahawks. During New England’s victory parade on Boylston Street, its fans lined up and cheered the home team. The players rode on duck boats, which is a sports tradition in Boston.

Let’s see what’s in store for this year’s parade.
