Patriots Super Bowl parade 2017: Map, route, and road closures for celebration in Boston

The Patriots will get their championship parade through Boston on Tuesday.

At this point, the city of Boston should have parade planning down to an exact science, seeing as they’ve already thrown nine championship celebrations since 2000.

Number 10 will take place Tuesday as the New England Patriots will pile into the duck boats for another tour around town with the Lombardi Trophy.

The route this year will take Brady and Co. from Boylston St. to city hall with the festivities kicking off at 11 a.m. ET.

The city of Boston released a map for the parade, with streets marked in black closed off.

The parade starts on Boylston Street, which will be closed. It will then go past Boston Common, then to Tremont Street before it ends city hall.

For full details of the route and road closures, visit the city’s website.

The Patriots are celebrating their fifth Super Bowl title after completing the largest comeback in NFL history, defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 34-28, despite trailing by 25 in the third quarter.

The game set 24 records and tied seven others as Tom Brady picked up his fourth Super Bowl MVP trophy.

Boston has been celebrating championships with duck boat parades since 2002 — the year New England won its first Super Bowl — and it has since become part of the city’s lore. The Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox have all used the duck boats to celebrate.
