It’s been an arduous four weeks without football, but the NFL returns to the field — kind of — as the NFL Combine touches down on Indianapolis. The pre-draft proving ground will bring college football’s finest eligible athletes in front of a host of scouts to help sort out 2017’s top prospects.

The combine isn’t just a chance to see college stars work out. It’s an intersection where executives and player agents will cross paths and talk shop. While teams can’t officially negotiate with free agents yet, the conversations that take place in the middle of Indiana could be the foundation from which new league powerhouses are built.

Uniting the league’s top executives and coaches will provide several opportunities for teams to address the press and reveal their plans for the offseason. For new head coaches like the 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan or the Chargers’ Anthony Lynn, it’s the first opportunity to deal with reporters at a league function in their new capacities. For executives of rebuilding teams like the Browns, Bears, or Rams, it’s a chance to sell the vision of a more prosperous future.

While defensive linemen barrel down the turf 40 yards at the time, the league’s greatest minds will take to the podiums to reveal their grand designs for 2017 and beyond. Players will also meet with the media, though the times will be scattered throughout the week.

Here’s the press conference schedule for the league’s coaches and executives, as well as position groups. All times are Eastern.
