The 2010 NFL Draft didn’t have the flashy top of the order fans might’ve liked to see — only four of the first 12 players selected are still with the teams that drafted them — but it was still one of the more talented draft classes from top to bottom in quite some time. It was also a unique draft, in that teams managed to find talented playmakers in virtually every round of the draft.

Round 1 boasted some of the better linemen on both sides of the ball in Ndamukong Suh, Gerald McCoy, Trent Williams, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Mike Iupati. It also saw one of the better safety duos come off the board in Eric Berry and Earl Thomas.

See every pick from all seven rounds from previous NFL Drafts:

On Day 2, the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and New Orleans Saints respectively found difference-making superstars in Rob Gronkowski, NaVorro Bowman, and Jimmy Graham in the second and third rounds.

And on the third day of the draft, the AFC North became even more dominant as the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers found two of the biggest steals of the draft in Geno Atkins (fourth-round selection) and Antonio Brown (sixth-round selection).

2010 was not the year for quarterbacks, as first-overall selection Sam Bradford, who certainly didn’t live up to his pedigree as the top pick, was far and away the best QB, and even the best value, of the draft class. Among the names who didn’t pan out at the position include Tim Tebow, Jimmy Clausen, and Colt McCoy. Of the 13 quarterbacks selected in 2010, just five remain in the league and only one holds a starting position. Only Tebow has won a playoff game, let alone started one, and he’s playing baseball now.

All in all, the 2010 NFL Draft boasts a solid class, highlighted by several superstars who are still making a difference in games nearly a decade after their initial selections.
