Ravens vs. Jaguars 2017: Start time, TV schedule for NFL London game at Wembley Stadium

The good news is football fans in London are getting a Week 3 matchup between two teams with non-losing records. The bad news is they’re getting the Jaguars again.

Jacksonville crashed back down to Earth in Week 2, losing 37-16 to AFC South rival Tennessee. They’ll face another stiff test across the pond when they “host” the Baltimore Ravens at Wembley Stadium, broadcast live at 9:30 a.m. ET online at Yahoo! (live stream).

The Jaguars surprised the football world by dominating the Texans in their opener, recording 10 sacks and looking like a team on the rise. A two-interception, touchdown-pass-only-in-garbage-time performance from Blake Bortles suggests 2017 may be more of the same. The Ravens are 2-0 to start their season, but wins over the Browns and Bengals, two of the league’s worst teams, haven’t exactly inspired confidence.

The Baltimore Ravens are excited for their upcoming trip to London. But maybe they’re a little too excited. To get fans pumped for their game abroad against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they tweeted a photo of Queen Elizabeth, which would have been fine were it not for the Ravens logo on her face.

Both statements are laughably untrue. The Ravens’ defense is not overrated. They are a top-three unit. They have forced 10 turnovers in two games. They have eight interceptions and the scary part is, Baltimore is just getting started.

1. How will the Ravens’ offensive line hold up?

With Marshal Yanda out for the season, Baltimore’s already shaky offensive line got significantly worse. The Ravens’ first test without Yanda will come on Sunday against a talented Jaguars defense.

You have to go find a quarterback who can win games either with his legs or with his arm. Something to keep that offense on the field. But seriously though, Colin Kaepernick though ... there are people in Jacksonville who are literally crying for them to go do research and bring him in.

Through two weeks we’ve kind of seen both ends of the spectrum for the 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars. Dominating a bad offense with the Houston Texans and then getting dominated and eventually breaking against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. In London against the Ravens, the Jaguars’ offense will have no respite.

In that span, the Jaguars have gone 2-2 in the land where beans are a breakfast food. Will that moderate success and familiarity lead to a smattering of fans in teal Sunday? Or will the English fans rock their Brady and Beckham jerseys as they choose to root for the game of football instead.
