Cowboys vs. Cardinals live stream: How to watch ‘Monday Night Football’ online

We have everything you need to know to watch Monday’s game between the Cardinals and Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals will face off in the featured matchup of Week 3, with a showdown set for 8:30 p.m. ET for Monday Night Football. The game will be broadcast by ESPN (live streaming via WatchESPN).

Both teams need a win badly, with the Cardinals coming off an ugly and narrow victory over the Indianapolis Colts and the Cowboys coming off a disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos. The Cowboys look dramatically worse on offense than they did last season, from the running game to the decision-making from quarterback Dak Prescott.

Obviously, the talk for the Cowboys is about running back Ezekiel Elliott and his suspension for his role in a domestic abuse case. Elliott was suspended, appealed the suspension, got a stay, and the NFL is appealing that stay. The NFL wanted to have the matter settled before Monday’s game, but that won’t be happening.

Instead, there is a hearing scheduled for Oct. 2, meaning Elliott will play in Monday’s game against the Cardinals and in the team’s Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 1. That said, Elliott has been drawing criticism for his struggles against the Broncos and the fact that many believe he gave up during the game.

In that game, Elliott had nine carries for 8 yards, while the Cowboys managed just 40 total rushing yards as a team. Accordingly, Prescott threw the ball 50 times, completing 30 passes for 238 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Cardinals barely made it past the Colts in their last outing, managing the win with a field goal in overtime. Carson Palmer was sacked four times, something that the Cardinals absolutely cannot sustain over the course of a full season.

Below is all you need to know to watch the game, predictions, and a whole lot more.

How to Watch Dallas vs. Arizona

  • Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Ariz.
  • TV: ESPN
  • Streaming: WatchESPN
  • Odds: Dallas is favored by 3 points

Cowboys vs. Cardinals news:

  • The NFL will appeal the stay granted for Elliott to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Oct. 2. Oral arguments will be heard on the NFL’s motion that day.
  • It’s the home opener for the Cardinals, but they’re underdogs to the Cowboys on Monday.

Cowboys vs. Cardinals prediction:

All eight of the SB Nation experts submitting picks for Week 3 picked the Cowboys to win, and they’re joined by the OddsShark computer. All of that considered, it’s pretty clear where we stand on this game: Dallas can and should win Monday’s game. Anything else would be an upset.
