Both the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers have been pretty awful this season, the former due to a complete dismantling of the team by Jon Gruden, and the latter due to a complete dismantling of the team by injuries. Naturally, these two one-win teams are set to play in primetime on Thursday Night Football, beginning at 8:20 p.m. ET on NFL Network and FOX (live streaming via Amazon Prime, FuboTV, FOX Sports GO, NFL).

The 49ers lost their starting quarterback and starting running back, and now their backup quarterback, C.J. Beathard, is injured. So there’s a very real possibility that Derek Carr will be facing Nick Mullens on Thursday. Get hyped!

San Francisco is coming off what is probably its worst game of the season: a very boring and ugly 18-15 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. They’ve already lost twice to the Cardinals this season, and there’s no sign of things getting better.

Oakland will once again look a bit different when they see the field on Thursday, as the team traded away Amari Cooper, the team’s best receiver. They’re in full-on rebuild mode under Gruden, who wants to shape the team his way. Well, the Raiders are 1-7, same as the 49ers, so this one should be ... interesting?

Below is all you need to know to follow the action on Thursday.
