Welcome back for Week 15 of the NFL season! If you saved the New England Patriots for Week 14 at the Miami Dolphins in your Survivor pool, you’re probably not reading this article My condolences. Same for the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers folks. The bell tolls for thee this week.
Week 15 NFL Survivor strategy and picks
We had some huge upsets in Week 14, as we are coming down the home stretch of Survivor pools. We’re back to provide some tips to stay alive this week.

For those new to the contest, a Survivor pool involves picking one team each week that you think will win. If your team wins in Week 1, you can make a pick in Week 2. If your team wins in Week 2, you can make a pick in Week 3, and so on. The catch is that you cannot pick a team twice. You could very well use a heavy favorite in Week 1, but you won’t have access to them later in the year if you’re alive in the closing weeks.
There is plenty of strategy in determining which team you will take each week, and SB Nation is here to help. We’ll take a look at the safest choices, best value picks, and then two trap picks.
Safest picks
Nick Foles is a capable replacement over Carson Wentz, as he proved last year, but the Rams are going to bounce back from their loss in Chicago and crush the Eagles. LA holds value the final two weeks at Arizona and at home against San Francisco, so there is more value out there.
Best value
If you didn’t use Jacksonville early in the season, you’ve likely still got them following their collapse. Washington is a disaster at quarterback, and Josh Johnson is not going to save them. If you still have the Vikings, there’s no value next week at Detroit or the following week at home against Chicago, so you might as well use them against a shaky Dolphins team with a potentially banged-up Ryan Tannehill.
Ravens over Buccaneers
The Ravens should win this game, but the Bucs are the ultimate wild card this season.
