Super Bowl 2018: What you need to know about Pink, this year’s national anthem singer
Pink, a three-time Grammy Award winner, will sing the national anthem at Super Bowl 52.

Pink is one of the most successful singers today. In October, she released her seventh album, Beautiful Trauma, which was her first in five years. “What About Us,” the first single of the album, received a Grammy nomination this year. Pink is best known for her hits, like “Get the Party Started” and “So What.” She also had 15 singles that placed in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After the Super Bowl, Pink will begin her 2018 Beautiful Trauma World tour in Phoenix on March 1.
Pink, a Pennsylvania native, is thrilled about the Eagles going to the Super Bowl. She went to Twitter to express her excitement.
The NFL has a rich history of choosing some of the best singers in the world to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Pink joins Beyoncé Knowles, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, and many more who have sung the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
But Pink isn’t the only star who will perform at Super Bowl 52. Justin Timberlake will headline the halftime show for the first time since 2004.
