After being declared inactive for Super Bowl 52, Alan Branch ate his feelings at Panda Express

Wonder what he got!

When in doubt, like when you’re not playing in Super Bowl 52 after playing the whole season with the New England Patriots, just go eat some Panda Express. That’s exactly what Patriots defensive tackle Alan Branch did a few hours before kickoff of Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis. He was seen at the Mall of America ordering Panda before kickoff, so he he’s not suiting up Sunday:

Branch missed the Pats’ AFC Championship game against Jacksonville a couple weeks ago due to a knee injury he suffered during the regular season. Branch missing the game was confirmed shortly after he was seen ordering Panda Express:

My next question is, I wonder what he ordered from Panda Express — I’m assuming it was one hell of an order, since he doesn’t have to worry about playing in a game in a few hours.

Branch missing is a big loss for the Pats against the Eagles, but the defense did fine without him toward the end of the season regardless. Branch re-signing with the Pats last offseason was one of the biggest keeps for New England along its defensive line.

We’ll see how much the defense misses him Sunday against Philadelphia.
