Nick Foles, backup quarterback, just put up a 28-of-43 passing night for 373 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, a 106 rating, and a touchdown catch to win Super Bowl 52 and deliver the Eagles their first championship in franchise history.

Foles delivered a masterpiece. Relive it.

The guy who replaced Carson Wentz when he tore his ACL in December authored the biggest sports moment in an entire city’s history. Let’s rank all the things he did:
1. A 1-yard touchdown catch on a pass from tight end Trey Burton out of a trick-play reverse, where Foles had lined up as an H-back and then slipped open for the score.
2. An 11-yard touchdown pass to Zach Ertz, which turned out to be the game-winning throw that gave Philadelphia its first Super Bowl.
(It was upheld after a review. Ertz was deemed to have controlled the ball and became a runner before losing it off the ground, contrary to the ruling against the Steelers’ Jesse James in a game against the Patriots in Week 15. Good thing.)
3. A 55-yard completion to Corey Clement, which gets bonus points for coming on a wheel route, perhaps the meanest of all passing plays, albeit more common in college.
5. A 22-yard touchdown pass to Clement, which probably shouldn’t have counted but somehow did, despite the NFL’s propensity for overturning TD catches when it’s even remotely questionable that the receiver controlled the ball.
6. A 24-yard completion to Nelson Agholor.
7. A 22-yard completion to Jeffery.
8. A 19-yard completion to Ertz.
9. An 18-yard completion to Agholor.
10. A 17-yard completion to Jeffery.
11. A 17-yard completion to Agholor.
12. A 17-yard completion to Torrey Smith.
13. A 16-yard completion to Clement.
14. A 15-yard completion to Smith.
15. A 14-yard completion to Ertz.
16. A 10-yard completion to Smith.
17. A 10-yard completion to Agholor
18. A 10-yard completion to Agholor.
19. A 7-yard completion to Ertz.
20. A 7-yard completion to Agholor.
21. An interception, which should’ve been caught by Jeffery but wasn’t. Foles actually made a really good throw here and deserved better, so I’m bumping it up.
22. A 7-yard completion to Ertz.
23. A 7-yard completion to Smith.
24. A 7-yard completion to Ertz.
25. A 7-yard completion to Clement
26. A 4-yard completion to Agholor.
27. A 2-yard completion to Agholor.
28. A 2-yard completion to Ertz.
29. A completion to Smith for no gain.
30-43. Each of Foles’ 14 non-pick incompletions, in whichever order you want. Nobody is going to remember or care about any of those plays.
44. A negative-8-yard completion to Agholor.
