Johnny Manziel’s been hard on the comeback trail, and part of that means a return to social media. He threw this pic up on the ‘gram with a simple motivational message as the caption — normal athlete on social media stuff:
Johnny Manziel says the Browns jerseys are ‘ugly as f***.’ Lucky for him, they might change them in 2020
Johnny Football had a clapback for someone who said he only reps his college days. His former NFL team might agree too.

What’s not so normal is the clapback he had for someone in the comments.
For starters, Manziel has plenty of pictures on his Instagram feed from his scant playing days in Cleveland. But the other note is that Manziel might be onto something with his displeasure pertaining to the Browns’ aesthetic.
The Brown unveiled an updated look from their classic set back in 2015. They’re pretty polarizing as far as opinions go. But the Browns are reportedly looking into changing uniforms again.
But Browns brass isn’t expected to do anything too rash.
“We have a little trouble with our numbers,” owner Dee Haslam said last March at the NFL Annual Meeting. “They’re too tight, they can’t get them on. We’ve been struggling with that, so it’s really more mechanical. So we always have to take a look at it. You don’t realize when you do the uniforms, you have to think about the fabric and how it stretches, so there’s issues there that we’ll constantly take a look at because we want the players to be comfortable and move well, so it’s nothing really. But we’re the Cleveland Browns and we stand for a certain thing and I can’t imagine us doing anything too crazy.”
Either way, they can’t unveil the change until 2020 due to NFL rules stipulating a team can only switch threads once every five years. When they do make the change, Johnny Football will no doubt be pleased.
