A howitzer of a quote here by Josh Rosen, the former UCLA quarterback who just went 10th overall to the Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft. Drink this bad boy in:
New Cardinal Josh Rosen says every QB pick ahead of him was a mistake.
Rosen does not lack for confidence.

He’s not talking about family planning. But he amended his own quote on Friday, saying he was “a little emotional last night” and only meant the QB picks ahead of him were mistakes.
Rosen is a confident guy. He always has been. He’s confident in his football-throwing ability, and he’s confident enough off the field to speak up on a range of social issues. His bravado sometimes gets him into public-relations trouble, but it’s part of the Rosen package.
He was the fourth quarterback drafted. He followed Baker Mayfield first to the Browns, Sam Darnold third to the Jets, and Josh Allen seventh to the Bills. But this was a pretty closely bunched QB draft year, and more than a few people would’ve taken Rosen with the first pick. So he’s not coming entirely out of left field here, not that it’s his job to provide objective analysis about himself and his peers. But this is still a heater!
