The draft has grown over the past few years, being held in cities like Chicago and Philadelphia as opposed to New York. There’s various people calling late round picks, walk up music, and more.
It’s been done in recent years, though it’s not as memorable as a Super Bowl national anthem.
The NFL Draft first left New York in its modern form in 2015, when it was held in Chicago.

The national anthem finalists to host in 2019 and 2020 include Cleveland/Canton, Kansas City, Tennessee, Denver and Las Vegas. The actual hosts will be announced at the Spring League Meeting in May.
