Now that the first round is behind us, we can set our sights on figuring out where some of the top talent among the skill positions might land in rounds two and three of the 2018 NFL Draft. The second round of this year’s event will get underway on Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m. ET and will be available on several TV channels, including the NFL Network, ESPN/ESPN 2, and FOX (live stream).

There aren’t nearly as many QB options still available, but there are some play-callers who could nab a Day 2 pick, including Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State) and J.T. Barrett (Ohio State) — although the latter is a pretty big stretch to go this early. Teams only get seven minutes per pick during the second and five minutes during the third rounds of the draft, so they’ll need to be organized to avoid running out of time to make their pick. (Yes, this has definitely happened before.)

You should expect a lot of offensive skill players to be picked on Friday, with a smattering of defensive ends and safeties hearing their names, too.
