Antonio Brown’s drama with the Pittsburgh Steelers has seemed headed for a split for a while. The seven-time Pro Bowl receiver has had a very public spat with the team that drafted him in 2010, and now he’s saying goodbye.
Antonio Brown says goodbye to the Steelers in cryptic social media post
Brown is still a member of the Steelers, but maybe not for long.

Brown posted a highlights video Tuesday on Twitter and Instagram with the message “Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years...time to move on and forward.......... #NewDemands.”
For now, Brown is still a member of the Steelers.
He’s been pushing for a split with Pittsburgh since the end of the 2018 season. A trade would be difficult due to his age and salary, but the Steelers have sounded like a party willing to do business.
Meanwhile, Brown’s goodbye to Pittsburgh isn’t that out of the ordinary for a player who has done his best to stir things up in the last couple months. He even posted an edited photo of himself in a 49ers jersey.
His post probably doesn’t mean a trade is imminent. But it’s more indication that a messy divorce for Brown and the Steelers is on the way.
