As Eagles QB Jalen Hurts found D’Andre Swift going across the middle, Lenoir lowered his shoulder and dropped a massive hit on the veteran running back. This was a totally clean hit: below the shoulder and leading with the helmet. Watch the video here:
Going over the middle isn’t for the faint of heart. The fact that the Eagles were already getting blown out at this part of the game makes it even worse. The 49ers won the game, 42-19.
This is one of my favorite tweets of football season.
Hopefully Swift is okay, because that’s a brutal hit even if it’s a legal one. Something tells me this won’t be the last time we see the Eagles and 49ers face off this season.
