If you were watching coverage of Hurricanes Milton on The Weather Channel on Wednesday night you probably caught wind of an absolutely wild comparison between the lingering danger of the storm, and one of the NFL’s most unfortunate franchises.

Was this really necessary? I mean, there are so many ways to talk about still being concerned about a storm without forever invoking the 28-3 collapse of the Atlanta Falcons.
The answer is: Yes. Yes it is necessary, and Falcons fans should be reminded of this until they manage to win a Super Bowl, and still reminded more after that — because it will be hilarious forever.
