UPDATE: The Saints have ruled Chris Olave OUT with a concussion. He will not return in Week 6.

The New Orleans Saints have sent wide receiver Chris Olave to the locker room to get checked out for a head injury. Midway through the first quarter, Olave caught a pass from quarterback Spencer Rattler and took a big hit from Tykee Smith. He fumbled the ball and subsequently was put through an initial concussion screening.

Olave entered the day with 22 receptions for 275 yards and one touchdown. Rashid Shaheed has been the Saints leading receiver with 338 yards while Alvin Kamara led the team with 23 receptions entering Week 6. Bob Means is seeing some additional work in Olave’s absence.
