Chicago, Tennessee and Seattle are searching for their NFL exes on Pro Football Reference

Some really funny results from the Pro Football Reference search history.

Pro Football Reference is the go-to stat page for NFL fans, and on Tuesday the site released an image of the most-searched player in each state. For the most part it’s expected: A lot of Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, with a sprinkling of everyone else scattered in.

Where this gets really funny is Illinois and Washington, where fans can’t stop searching for their exes on the DL.

Justin Fields led searches in the Chicago area, which is probably based on wanting to ensure he’s not better than Caleb Williams. Meanwhile Seahawks fans just wanted to make sure that Russ still sucks and they didn’t move on too quickly. Poor Titans fans checking in on Derrick Henry realize he’s still absolutely amazing.

It’s incredible that the two QBs are now on the Steelers, which probably speaks to one of two things: A lot of Steelers fans live in other parts of the country, or Pittsburgh is simply such a good team that it makes fanbases wonder how the heck players are doing so well in their system.

Shout out to Louisiana and the majority of New England too — who just can’t let go of their legendary quarterbacks, even when they’ve been retired for a while.
